13 months, 3 weeks, 4 days, 21 hours agoIn London, England, the National Portrait Gallery is looking into buying a special sculpture by Marc Quinn. His sculpture is a frozen replication of himself covered in his very own blood. His used 10 pints of his own blood per sculpture and makes a new one every 5 years. It takes over a year for him to collect the amount of blood he needs. This work of art is known as "iconic" and is worth a lot of money.

This is really interesting but kind of creepy. I can't believe this guy would do this! It's crazy that this is considered 'iconic'!

It's really a new way to make art. I've never seen something like that before, and that's probably why it's considered iconic-no one else wants to do something like that.

I think this is a really weird way of making art. o.o But still! It makes him different because no one else would want to make a sculpture like that it seems... And the sculptures he makes you just kinda wanna stare at until you notice all the fine differences between the different sculptures of himself.
