The National Portrait Gallery is currently seeking £350,000. This money is to be used to buy the self portrait of Marc Quinn, which was made out of his own BLOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! The National Portrait Gallery in London endeavors to purchase the newest work of Marc Quinn for a lofty £200,000. The work, a "blood portrait," is composed of 10 pints of the artist's blood, cast into the shape of his head and frozen. Quinn creates a new version every five years, which he claims is the most frequently his body can produce enough blood for the task.
