The Museum of Arts and Design is doing a three part "Materials and Process" series, with paper cutting being the most recent. Paper cutting is an intricate, if not too difficult art that is met with much enthusiasm and many different ideas.

Walthamstow's most famous art gallery hosts Islamic art exhibition

Zarah Hussain's work is currently being displayed in the William Morris gallery in the Wathamstow. She is a British born Pakistani artist who creates intricate geographic designs. William Morris was highly influenced by Islamic art and used many of its principles in designing wallpapers and fabrics. Much of his work is still popular today. Hussain says she hopes her works shows the traditional art of the past fusing with what is happening now.
